Hey everyone! Hope your Monday is off to a great start! I am sipping mass amounts of coffee (decaf since I am pregnant) and trying to press through this Monday with a force of energy. I am a little behind on this post but I have a great excuse! My monthly Petit Vour box didn’t arrive until the last day of February so that’s why this post is going up in March. 🙂
If you are unfamiliar with Petit Vour then you need to change that because it’s an amazing monthly beuty box. It costs $15 a month and you typically get around 4 higher end vegan beauty products. This was the first month for me so I was new to this whole process although I was a subscriber to Ipsy. My only complaint is the amount of time it took for me to recieve my first box. Apparently I was on a waiting list and nobody told me which explains why I recieved it at the end of the month opposed to the middle of the month. I did contact customer service and they were helpful about it and told me it’s only when you are new. This month should be different but I will let you all know!
Petit Vour is very similar to Ipsy in the sense that you can rate products and they have their own website for you to shop at. If you do shop on the website as a siubscriber then you get a discount on any purchases. They do change up the prodcts on there pretty frequently which I enjoy and they have a wide variety of items in the store. I do miss getting a little makeup bag but then again how many of those can you possibly have?
So let’s get down to the February box!!
Juice Beauty – Phyto – Pigments Cream Shadow Stick is valued at $22. They offer in total 8 different colors that are all wearable. I really enjoyed this most out of the entire box and have used it several times already! I recieved the color smoke which a metal gray and it is an eyeshadow stick that glides on but you do have to press a bit hard to get it fully pigmented. You can either wear this a bit more sheer or pack on the color like I metioned.
Konjac Sponge Co – This was a new one for me! I really love this sponge and it’s the first sponge I own! This facial sponge is valued at $12 and it is packed with minerals and antioxidants that helps exfoliate your skin. You can use the sponge with or without your own cleanser. I chose to use mine with and it works great! Make sure you squeeze out all of the excess and let it dry back to normal. This sponge can last up to three months if properly cared for.
St.Tropica – This hot oil coconut hair mask retails for $5 per one time use but they do offer sets of three. This was simply amazing! You heat it up in the packet for 20 secods and then apply it to your hair for about 20 minutes. Afterwards rinse it out twice with shampoo and conditioner and your hair will feel like silk! I’ve used regular coconut oil many times and it’s part of my regular routine but nothing has made my hair feel as great and nourished as this $5 packet did.
AILA Cosmetics – 3 in 1 Nail color remover retails for $1. I haven’t tried this yet since I haven’t had any nail polish to remove. This is a much healthier alternative to acetone and acetate removers which is especially good for me since I am pregnant! This also contains vitamins and pur argan oil that helps reverse nail damage and promotes nail growth.
Overall, I am super impressed with what I recieved in the February box and am looking forward to March. I find everything extremely useful and nothing goes to waste!
Have you tried Petit Vour? What are your thoughts?
